On January 11, 2019, our Australian customer Mr. Tokmak visited our overseas sales office. Mr. Tokmak is an experienced purchaser working in a famous Australian steel mill. For this business trip, he is planning to purchase graphite electrodes and firebricks used for EAF furnaces.
Our general manager Mr. Wang and technical supervisor Mr. Yu warmly welcomed him, and they talked about the working condition of the EAF furnaces, refractory material consumption, our UHP graphite electrodes technical parameters, service life, production period and other topics. Mr. Tokmak is very satisfied with the quality of our UHP500 graphite electrode and wants to check our production factory in the next day. They also thoroughly talked about the purchasing plan and made primary agreement.
After the meeting, our chairman Mr. Chu talked with Mr. Tokmak about his transportation, accommodation and other things during his travel in China. Mr. Tokmak shared us lots of interesting stories during his trip, and he enjoyed his trip in China very much.
Finally, Mr. Chu sent Mr. Tokmak a Chinese featured gift: a piece of Pu’er tea(produced in southwestern Yunnan, China). Mr. Tokmak was very happy about the gift and looking forward to having a long term cooperation with RS group.
